Our Wedding

Chad and Calla made things officially official on June 22, 2023. I guess Chad finally gave in after driving halfway across the country with Calla to help her pickup a baby opossum &amp; skunk in less than 24 hours (does this really surprise anyone). Chad may have finally known what he was getting himself into but he was such a trooper through it all. But just to rewind a bit, Calla &amp; Chad knew about each other for years thanks to our now "crazy" friend group. Calla moved into the apartment on Chad's brother Jake's property and sister-in-law Caroline. Calla first became familiar with the name "Frame", thanks to Caroline aka Chicky Dewalt. Chick married Chad's oldest brother Jake and for all who do not know, Chicky is basically a Gibson sister who grew up right across the street from Calla. Calla also started working for Jake's hot air balloon company in which Chad was training to become a commercial pilot AND he just so happened to park his camper across the way basically making Chad and Calla neighbors.Here we are today, two years later with many many hot air balloon adventures under our belt, lots of travel, trying new things (at least for Calla) and fostering a TON of cats (Chad loves it). We have a rescue dog named Dutchy who is absolutely Chad's dog and three cats (of whom Chad only claims one to be his, Mr. Fluffy Frank). All jokes aside, we are so grateful to have each other in our lives and cannot wait to continue this crazy amazing adventurous journey together.
